Hojo website Privacy Policy

Last updated

This policy explains how HOJO Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. (“we” or “us”) handles your personal information when you visit the Hojo website (“the website”) and when you contact us by email.

1. Scope

This policy covers only the website and the emails you send to the addresses listed on it.

The Hojo App and Hojo devices handle personal information under the Hojo App’s own privacy policy and user agreement, not this policy.

Other websites and services that the website links to handle information under their own policies. See section 5.

2. Information we collect

When you browse the website

The website is made of static pages. It has no accounts, logins or forms, uses no analytics, advertising or tracking tools, and sets no cookies (see the Cookie Policy). When you view its pages, every file they need, fonts included, is loaded from the website’s own server; no request goes to Google or any other third party.

Like most websites, the server that hosts the website records standard request data when it receives a request:

  • your IP address;
  • the time of the request;
  • the page or file requested;
  • your browser’s user agent string, which usually gives the browser and operating system and their versions;
  • the referring page (Referer), that is, the page whose link brought you here.

When you email us

You can reach us at these addresses:

We receive your email address, your message and anything else you choose to include, such as your name, company, job title and attachments.

3. How we use this information

We use the server’s request records to keep the website secure and running, including detecting and blocking attacks or abuse and diagnosing faults.

We use your emails to reply to you and handle what you ask. To do so, we may forward your email to the colleagues responsible for the matter.

We use this information only for these purposes and do not use it for advertising or profiling.

4. Sharing and disclosure

We share this information with third parties only in these cases:

  • the providers that host our server and our email process it as far as needed to provide those services;
  • when the law requires it, or when a competent authority lawfully requests it.

5. Third-party websites and downloads

The website links to GitHub, Hugging Face, X, the Apple App Store and Google Play. When you follow these links you leave the website, and those sites handle your information under their own privacy policies.

Some Hojo App installation files are downloaded from cdn.hojoai.com. Installing and using the Hojo App is covered by the Hojo App’s privacy policy.

6. Your rights

Depending on the laws that apply to you, you may have rights over your personal information, such as to access it, get a copy, correct it, delete it, or withdraw your consent.

To exercise these rights, email dpo@hojoai.com. We will reply within the time the applicable law requires.

The website does not identify its visitors. If your request concerns the server’s request records, please tell us the IP address you used and roughly when you visited, so we can find them.

7. Security

The website’s pages are served over HTTPS. We take reasonable measures to protect the information we hold.

No transmission over the internet is completely secure. If you find a security problem on the website, please email us.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the website or the law changes. We will publish the updated version on this page with the date it was updated.

9. Contact us
